ANIMAL
CONTROL
Lost
and Found Pets
To report a lost or found
animal, contact Livermore Police Department Animal Control and East County
shelter immediately. When reporting, provide a description of the animal along
with any identification it is wearing. The police department has a lost and
found listing called "Interpaw" that is available 24 hours a day. If Animal
control is out of the office, police department employees will take your lost
pet information.
It is important to have identification on your pet. Most importantly is your
telephone number and address. If your pet is only wearing a veterinarian tag,
this information is not available after their office has closed. Livermore
City dog license information is also available 24 hours a day through the
police department. Also you can post flyers, check the news paper lost and
found and go door to door. You can call Livermore Animal Control at 371-4848
and the East County Animal Shelter at 803-7040.
